Those who know me recognize that I tend to be a bit impulsive. Okay, a lot impulsive. Which is why it should come as no surprise that over the weekend I decided to drastically slash the prices of everything on the third floor.

Everything up there now falls under one of three categories:
$50
$25
$10

Right. So the coats that are up there? $50. The dresses? $25. Men’s tees and polos? $10.

It’s really rather ridiculous. You’d best hurry in before it all disappears--the response on Sunday was huge!

Also, we’re marking down new winter items to make room for all the spring deliveries that are on their way. It’s a great time to stop by for a bargain on great winter clothes. After all, we’ve still got a couple more months of COLD ahead!

Happy New Year and more

First things first: Whimsy|Reason will close at 7:00 PM Thursday, January 8th (rather than the usual 8:00) so that we can get to a TV in time for the BCS National Championship game. BOOMER SOONER!

Happy New Year! We are so excited for 2009. We’ve got all kinds of fresh ideas up our sleeves for the store and our fabulous customers! Over the next few months, expect fun developments, including an improved website, frequent-shopper rewards, and great new in-store events.

Meanwhile, be sure to check this blog frequently for unannounced sales, spur-of-the-moment deals, new merchandise, and intriguing musings by yours truly.

The 3-day sale was a huge success! We’ve still got lots of great, in-season apparel on sale RIGHT NOW, up to over 80% off. I am ready to have my third-floor office back, so you guys hurry in and take all of these fabulous items off my hands, will you please?
